What we think

This mid range, mid price stereo offers a good spread of features. Perfect for someone looking for a good all-rounder that offers everything you need, at a decent price, it’s definitely worth checking out. Whether you’re upgrading from a lower model, or a first time investor, the LESHP 2DIN Android 5.1 Car Stereo has something for everyone.

The stereo features a wide range of features and options. Most of them come as standard on your average device, but there are a few things that caught our eye. For instance, you can use a reverse camera fitted with night vision. Does it have much use? Potentially, who knows. Regardless, it’s a cool little gadget and no end of fun to play around with. Not only is it capable of night vision, it also has a full 170 degree range on it. It’s impressive, and we can’t say that we’ve seen so many cameras that good. While there aren’t many people out there buying stereos based on the cameras, you can’t deny that a good camera can make a bit of difference. And the LESHP 2DIN Android 5.1 Car Stereo definitely has a good camera.

The LESHP 2DIN Android 5.1 Car Stereo is an Android device, and compatible with a range of features such as GPS, Google Maps, Sygic and Waze. One thing that is worth noting is that this device comes equipped with Android 5.1 rather than the current Android 6.0. It is, after all, not the latest device to hit the market. As a result, if your mobile device has any issues with the 5.1 version, this may not be the right device for you. On the other hand, the vast majority of Android users have no issues with the device, so odds are, you should be alright.

All the rest of the features are pretty standard. A usual bluetooth connection, a variety of customisable options, and compatibility with a few different file types. A handy steering wheel function allows you to control the device without ever taking your hands from the wheel. All in all, it’s not one to knock us out of the water, but it does offer exactly what it says on the tin: a range of useful features housed in a reliable, user friendly setup. A quick and straightforward installation makes this stereo all-rounder perfect for just about anyone.
